Something I have implemented into my life as of late is the “test of timelessness”. Will my photo edits still be relevant 5 years from now? Am I still going to love this $40 bohemian shirt next summer? Do I REALLY love this desk, or do I only love it because it’s been recently featured on Kinfolk? I’m tired of fads. I’m over trends. This is something I’m still working on very diligently; taking each variable as a step forward in the direction I want to go. Horray for lifestyle improvements, am I right? (at Mooney Falls)

I think everything in life is art. What you do. How you dress. The way you love someone, and how you talk. Your smile and your personality. What you believe in, and all your dreams. The way you drink your tea. How you decorate your home. Or party. Your grocery list. The food you make. How your writing looks. And the way you feel. Life is art.

There are many people who rush things because they feel like there is no time to waste but I really do think there is an art to the timing in which you do things. I personally have lacked patience and bitten off way more than I can chew in the past. But if you attempt certain things at the right time they become easier to accomplish, almost done on their own. I believe that in life and in love.
